Looked like a Mig-23 to me, part of the resistance wasn't it? Pity he died, but in a civil war it was always going to happen.

I don't think Gaddafi will just up and leave, the way he's going - it looks like he might be tried for war crimes.. Could end in another Saddam Hussein, hopefully not though.

It is unlikely that they will see any dogfighting action. Our jets are superior to the Libyan planes so I reckon if necessary our pilots will just be on the ground attack. Even so I wish them the best of luck.
