I don't know if it as been asked before, but will your plane get damaged if it is hit by part that came from other plane (cowlings, wing, fusalage, engine, etc. that have been blown off).

Also, very nice work. Can't wait to buy it.

And to all here... spread the word my little friends, spread the word...

It was the case in Il-2 yet, even if it wasn't perfect. So i guess it would be OK...

These are exactly the kind of videos we wanted to be drowned in.

Thanks - awesome work!

It looks awsome, i buy it, but not happy about the visual damedge on the bombers It is proberbly so make et visual interesting for more costumers...but the 303 ripping a bomber apart so it looks like its hit by a direct flak hit.....

Well everything looks great, also the visual effects, nice visuals, love to se it all when i have the game...but on the realism factor its a minus 2

After the "whine" im thrilled, cant wait to fly it.....will be awsome soon to try this beast out..

Right now, the clips are being scrutinized for every last detail, but once we are playing, and the immersion takes over, none of that will become obvious or important.

This is going to be a blast to fly.

Oleg the CoDfather - I love it What a way to drown. Only one new troll so far today. It seems the CoDfather's marketing strategy is working: offer quality, improve it as needed and don't make outrageous claims with CFS3ish CGI videos.

Forum members:

No after effects were used to enhance the video in a cinematographic way, only in-game effects, except for slight use of colour and shake filters.

The video was made in basically 1 week after access was granted to the game, same basic gameplay as IL-2 and easy to learn and use.

Shadows were turned down.

Sometimes vulnerability was off, realistic gunnery off, etc. just to make it easier to capture the desired situation.

Slow motion was obtained by recording at very slow game speeds, much slower than IL-2 1946.

The movie was made in full HD mode at 25fps

Kindly note that the game made available to me was still a BETA version and it would be undesirable for me to comment on any technical or gameplay matters

The only comment I am prepared to make is that this game will totally surprise everyone.

Had to watch again..... and again.

Any body want some?

Another thing I haven't seen mentioned yet if formation sizes. They looked bigger than I expected. Hopefully this is a good sign.

No it was not. In iL2 as soon as a plane is broken up, you can fly through its broken parts.
