Exactly, what is a couple weeks delay compared to all the years of play to come?

The argument there was Europeans have to wait a month for U.S. movies, so it's even as far as U.S. possibly having to wait a few more weeks to play the game. There's a large difference in entertainment factor there. Not to mention I don't know of any movies (personally) that have a rabid fan base of people and forums, waiting 5 or 6+ years for it to be released. Regardless, I don't see why anyone has to wait longer than the other. <insert release date here>, 12:00am Russian time, release the thing internationally. Done deal, everyone's happy, nobody has to wait longer.

I'm not dissing the game, not dissing UBI (at the moment), and definitely not dissing Oleg or the 1C crew. Merely just expressing my displeasure at having to wait another month to play this game that I've been waiting so long for, that's had a target release date up until approximately a week from release.

Come on guys... i just made a small joke. Maybe i missed the right smiley or the "irony" tags.

I second the things about the long lasting fun of games (especially this one). I dont wanted to compare the entertainment factor of movies and games . I´m into IL2 from the very beginning (beta) until now (1946) and i´m really confused and annoyed about UBI´s "tactic" here. Silent Hunter 5 was the same dilemma...

Anyway... dont crucify me
But if you want to... just wait till i´ve played CoD at least one time

Unless 1C has DD rights. In which case they could guarantee 3/25 for DD, and Ubi would need a bit more time to press and box. Ilya did say a while back that they knew DD "should be available globally" but he couldn't say the same for boxed copies.

If not I don't understand why Oleg seems to be out of the information loop.
