Blackdog, you have no idea how much I agree with you
 I have no idea what Steam does or doesn't on a PC, I just don't want it simply because I don't NEED it to play CoD, which as you said, wasn't designed with Steam embeded in it right from the start but very recently ...  I just would like to BUY CoD and opt out of Steam ...
