No.1 Squadron - Cambrai airfield.

OPERATIONAL INFORMATION:-

Wing have just reported a Jerry formation heading our way - looks like we might be the target.

They were on a heading of 240 degrees, approaching Charleroi at approx 10 to 12 thousand feet; 10+ bandits – twin engine types.

Scramble 2 sections, head for Charleroi & intercept.

INTEL: Things aren’t looking good. The Dutch surrendered yesterday, & we have reports that the German Army have broken through the French line along the river Meuse at Sedan.
