Hi,

is the Thrustmaster Hotas Cougar recommendable?
I am looking at a precise Hotas and the hotas warthog is actually too expensive for me. Can the Cougar compete to the Warthog?
Or would you guys advice me to spent the extra 70-150 buccs for the warthog?
Thx for help.

From what I understand, stock Cougars are very much worse than stock Warthogs, and modded Cougars are more expensive than the Warthog. Don't take me as a reliable source, though, I haven't tried either. I would wait for some detailed opinions of guys who've tried/owned both.

I owned a cougar until 3 weeks ago.
They are not precise.
I sold it and bought a full CH setup (i am still waiting for my order.. ggrrrr)

So its simple: Stay away from a thrustmaster cougar if your want precision.
If you want super precision for low price then go:
http://www.thrustmaster.com/product....3&PlatformID=5
But it feels like a toy.
And the looks dont fit a WW2 combat sim (Yeah i know, a warthog,CH fighterstick etc also dont have the correct looks. But at least the Warthog is from metal and the CH dont look like a child's toy etc)

I got my Warthog with Saitek Combat Pedals on Friday replacing my Logitech G940 and I can recommend it wholeheartedly. The stick is very precise.
