Videos will be shown when they are made with the "gold" - version, i assume.
By the way, i believe that all readers here will buy CoD, with or without official videos shown, as we are already junkies, needing our next screenshot or inside-info.

Yes we can, they can force Oleg to stop showing off videos, it wouldn't be the first time a publisher has done this to generate a "media blowout" and hype for a game.

Well it's the only logical explanation I can think of. You know how pissed off Luthier was, as well as Oleg and the rest of the team. Sure showing us videos would have been nice (I too wonder sometimes why they didn't just drown us ) but they wanted to surprise us all a couple of weeks b4 release. This has been Olegs baby for the past 5 years. I can only imagine how excited he was to show us the final version, but that was taken from him, thus taking all the excitement out of presenting it to us. But don't think hes just going to give up on us, or the game. This friday or the next we will see some more good footage. Hopefully in 720p this time

I think the "Where are the videos?" question is pretty simple. Like everything else 1C Maddox does they aren't really happy with anything less than the most perfect possible example they can come up with. I think they are just trying to satisfy themselves with the quality of their videos before they try and appease this sometimes very harsh community with said videos.

I agree and being a programmer I've been there myself. You created it and you know all the faults, many of which aren't obvious at all to most people, BUT,
you keep saying to yourself...I'll just fix this one and then they can see it. Just one more and so on.....

It's very hard to let go when you're a perfectionist.

I think here it is the other way around.
If one knows he has the best product, i.e. ww2-air-combat-sim, there is small need for advertisement at all.
Everybody already interested in this genre knows CoD, the majority of possible customers.
Once the sim is out the game-magazines will write about it -> free advertisement, not about how it will possibly be, but how it really is.
Thats where the majority of not already addicted players will be reached.
