By comparing real images of landscape and in-game sreen shots, my impression is that the obvious difference is in the "contour' definition of the roads, streets, tracks,etc...The blur on edges in CoD appears to me as the principal obstacle to photorealism...For you on this forum who have technical knowledge, is this a limitation of the code itself, or is it a way to preserve acceptable frame rates ?
Thanks ! Salute ! |

Just a test to see who knows their WWII planes. You failed.

Yes, indeed I failed.
When I read FW, I instantly thought of the FW-190, but couldn't find it for sure. |

[QUOTE=KG26_Alpha;227512]Also rail lines are highly reflective especially in moonlight, but i suspect that's too much to ask for

Its along this well known fact that I was interested if 1C team had done any reflective work on the rail lines for CoD, it should a a given that the Rivers have it already modelled. But if the rail banks have the wrong colour grass in Autumn it goes in the bin . Last edited by KG26_Alpha; 02-24-2011 at 08:45 PM. |

must be the interior cockpit shot with the copilot then I assume... however pictures of FW-200 cockpits I've seen do not look like the screenshot if you ask me...
