The questions about region locking have arisen because some European resellers are advertising the Collectors Edition as "Region B".

Region B is a Bluray region code not a DVD region code. It is not clear how a Bluray region code can be enforced on a PC game.

Its possible this "Region B" comment may have been a mistake however it has made some people a little nervous about ordering box versions from other regions.

Right, it doesn't make much sense any way you look at it. If I were a betting man, I'd bet it's a mistake and the hard copies will work in any region.

But I'm not a betting man, so I'm waiting until it's definitively cleared up before throwing around the cash for a Collector's Edition and international shipping.

hehe yeah. I have time also.. wanted the collectors edition but thinking of grabbing the download. I always lose my booklets etc anyhow.

But i've NEVER heard of games/software cd's,dvd's not working on a generic dvd player in your pc. No matter where the discs are coming from. Bluray is a different matter on which i have little to no knowledge. Besides the point though since no pc game has ever been released on bluray to my knowledge. Something to do with -$ per MB ratio- not too mention still not to many people have bluray in their pc.

Excellent news! Hope it is true. Maybe all our complaints did acheive something after all. It would be great to get the boxed set on release date whilst waiting for the postman from Finland with the Collectors Edition. Lovely!

Oh man I hope it's true, but I ALWAYS take anything EB says with a grain of salt.
