Hello, and welcome to the forum.
It seems there are some issues with the DVD version of the game judging from some postings of our members. Thus far if anyone has resolved it, they are not sharing their info with the members of the forum. I really don't think it's a Windows7 problem though. If you had Vista, I would be more inclined to agree with you. If you do happen to get it to work, by all means, let us know what you did.

At the moment it only runs on XP - when it runs on win 7 i tell you how to do. It is not only the DVD-version - i downloaded on gamesload.de too - the same problem...! The game didn´t load the screen of the system / required system (both german version!).
Sorry for my bad english...

Don’t worry about your English. You write well enough for me to understand. No apology necessary. As for your German version of the game, I’m afraid I can’t assist you further, but maybe some of our German speaking members can lend a hand. Especially if they got your version up, and running.
