In 4.10 you can assign ZOOM in Axis (see in HOTAS section of Controls).
Ie, in picture below put (default is blank) in mouse scroll wheel (see as Axis for IL-2). A bit slow, but work.  You can assign too tow keys for change FOV in 5% increments. Sokol1
