UBI's bad news all over... The CoD site is all garbled now.

I just don't understand it. Look at their website, a nice flash component showing all the upcoming titles, ....without CoD.

I sincerely hope somebody from 1C could contact UBI and state an official complaint how they handle their product, CoD.

It isn't even listed in the list with upcoming titles, for crying out loud.

I really want to promote this sim, to my students, friends and relatives. But then I have to be able to actually show them something....(yes I showed them the Igromir vid, they were all impressed with that one , and the screenshots as well)

Just voicing my concerns.

BP

CloD no longer comes up on the list of "coming soon" or "simulations". The ball has been dropped.

No such issues here. There's a page offering screenshots and the ubishop is listed in the drop-down nav-list. Takes you straight to CoD pre-orders page which is working.

Sometimes the web developer will not shut down a site to work on it.

Large websites are broken down into subdomains for ease of maintenance, etc.

Promotional subdomains do not need to be Shut down for the developer, especially when people are just viewing a subdomain site.

Shutting down subdomains of a site are important when users are making entries that are working with a server database (like a forums)

So, you may be seeing site development in process.

Move on to better things. Ubi will have their act together in time.

I'm having flashbacks to the time just before SHV was released.

http://il2sturmovik.ubi.com/cliffs-of-dover/en-GB/ with

home/coming-soon.aspx works

the http://il2sturmovik.ubi.com/cliffs-of-dover/en-GB/ with just

home/ broken

Its kinda lame, because /home is usually the main page everyone goes to or /main . . . but maybe the ubi web designer is going to wait for it come out before the /home works.

What I think IS sad is that first page of google hits on IL-2 Cliffs of Dover doesn't have the UBI store or the UBI site to it, the second one halfway does have a link . ..

The http://shop.ubi.com/ site listed above works. But you have to type in Dover in the search and it pulls it up. Its not on the front page splash or selection screen at all.

But to UBI's credit the shop site doesn't have a section for Upcoming Releases but they DO have one for New Releases, Hopefully they'll throw IL2 COD when it does release in the new section AND get google to have the shop link on first page.

This is game of the year and UBI's not putting it out there . . . as it deserves LOL

I guess they gave removed it from countries where it will not be published at the 25:th of march? On the swedish localized site that Baron links to above it's even in the fat rotating flash banner in the top with Assassins Creed 2 and a few other high profile games...
