Great shots! Tracer smoke is very appreciated.

Oleg, we are all in such great anticipation of the product that we've watched come to life over a long period of time. I can not properly describe the great feeling that many good people have in all flight simulation communities, as the clock ticks towards March.

It feels almost like a new world.

Thank you for everything!

S!

Gunny

I have to say, great shots! I don't know who's idea it was (assuming it's Oleg, he represents more of the old school flight sim market) to sell the collectors edition, but I LOVE it.

Really looking forward to the title!

EDIT: Guys asking for higher rez/dx 11/ whatever pics...in time they will come. Don't rush an artist whilst he's trying to finish his masterpiece.

Dear Oleg

Many thanks for the cooming soon Cliffs of Dover which I´ve already pre ordered a copy of the Collector´s Edition.

However, as the title indicates, the Cliffs of Dover DON´T HAVE TREES ON THE BEACHEs just gravel, sand and seaweed, so I think that´s a must to be corrected.

Also, as you can see in the photo, there are no trees as well nearby on top of the cliffs just, grass and some shrubs and as CoD happened in mid-late summer of 1940, you can notice the different tone of the green colors and what we´ve seen in photos and videos of CoD by so far, is more springtime colors than summertime. So, these colors are a must to be corrected too.

Sorry for these observations but me like everybody else who loves your sim want it to be accureted as possible.

Best regards,

Mad G

I think it depends on where you look. There are trees at sea level, but maybe not on beaches...the game probably doesn't make that difference:

I remember someone talking about this some months ago and from what I remember there WHERE trees up on the cliffs in 1940 which someone that lived there back then confirmed. I cant find the thread unfortunately...

Oleg,

In almost all period photos I've seen you don't see pilots with their goggles down. My feeling is that they obstructed vision and were used in the brief periods of combat only.

Will it be possible to see pilots with the goggles up at all?

Thanks

COD wont top REX II ´s cloud system.
Of course it will, unless all you do is take static screenshots where 2D bitmaps look good as backgrounds.

What do REX clouds look like when you fly up in and around them? An awful mess of 2D plates interleaved with each other. This isn't a dig at REX in particular, just the limited FSX cloud system.

No thankyou!

I'd take a true 3D system any day, even if it doesn't look quite as good in a static screenshot. It makes all the difference when you're dancing around among them.

Look at the self shadowing Spitfire video. The particle light effects on the clouds are brilliant. WAY more immersive than an FSX mess.

Cheers, Spinner
