My main gripe with WOP is the MP and lack of campaign/mission editor. I have never been able to join many of the games hosted on the WOP server but if anyone does get the PC version then post your user name and I will see if I can join your game. If you like BOP then you will certainly appreciate the familiar feel and all the goodies that can only be added to a PC version.
I still think IL2 1946 is the best SP/MP combat flight sim money can buy (DVD version for the same price). MP servers available for just about any difficulty level, available 24/7 and thousands of skins, mods and dowloadable SP campaigns/missions to be had - FREE! Steep learning curve but well worth the effort if you are serious about 'simming'.
It's Christmas.......get both!
