As bboywampa said, this game would be 100000000x better with free roam and the ability for the trucks to flex over objects and have 70 degrees of travel and just slowly crawl over rocks and watch the car work its way over things

Default Developers take a look

http://www.mediafire.com/?76vkxkq7ksacf

That link will carry you (developers) to a page where you can download screamer 4x4, motor m4x and Insane offroad.
The Insane and Motor m4x are split up and must be joined by the software included in the folder.
To do this go download files including "Free-File-Splitter-v5.0.1189.exe".
Then put files together in same folder, open Free-File-Splitter-v5.0.1189.exe and go to merge, then chose a file and merge.
After they have merged you should the installation files.
For motor M4x, its a ISO and requires a image mounting software like power iso, which I use:

I think the best comparison for free roam would have to be rigs of rods, which is a free game to get, has heaps of content, rock crawlers, 4x4's ect and the phisics are the best available now.

Even has flexable tires "they bag out whe rock crawling"

and ofcourse,,,,, it has free roam..... This is pretty much the only mode in the game and have a look at how manny downloads they have!!!!!

Proof is in the numbers 1c!!!

So true!!! I play Rigs of Rods every single day! Been playing it for over a year now and it's still not boring. For the 1C people: go have a look at Rigs of Rods, you could learn from Thomas and the other developers there I think.

I think rig of rods is a great game and is open to modding, but I think the graphics are lame.
