Exactly. I just think that if Oleg wants SOW to be super-successful it would be good to add a bunch of fun or "arcade" features that the hardcore sim peson could either turn on or off. And maybe it would bring a lot of casual sim geeks who are huge into fun effects.

Engine sounds,even the new video released today has the same generic sounding engines,the Merlin is beautiful and a symbol of the BoB on it's own.Watch how many people will look up when a Merlin is around.


I hope it can be worked on in the future.

Agree 100%. All the engine sounds in the Igromir vid sounded very IL2, but this may only be because of the Binaural sound bugs Mr maddox mentioned a couple of weeks ago.
Both the Merlin and the DB601 are awesome sounding engines, and I'm hoping for a big improvement on IL2 on release.
