If you have 300+ ping yeah it will affect the game, it will lag and keep freezing the game up saying "Performance Drop by Waffle-Speed". If it stays froze to long people usually quit the match and yeah....but then again lots of peope have pretty high lag like 200+ ish so its not to bad usually, just a second or two of the lag spike. And you fell in love withit when you watched YT vids of MoW...so did I..some Sherman Tank battle was all it took for me. The awesome sounds and stuff were enough lolz and so Far MoW is my fav RTS....CoH kinda used to be...not really but sorta but MoW definitly blows other RTS ive played away =D

I've played fine with 1300 ping. Depends on the host.

I dont think 300+ ping is that bad. Sometimes it works sometimes it lags. And as said by Kor the PC of the host is more important for a good game so one or two players with a bit higher pings are not as bad like to play with a host that has a bad ping (as then ALL players might lag).

The numbers of players ... well sadly thats a issue in my eyes. It could be usualy almost the double of numbers but sadly many seem to use different versions of the game and that ... well of course drops the numbers as some are either using the newest patch while others still the old one : / ... hurts the game a lot in my eyes.
