whenever i try to start the game it freezes at the startup picture(the one with the guy on the horse)and i cant play plz help.

post the dxdiag; have you updated the drivers of graphic card?

(the one with the guy on the horse)and i cant play i tryde reinstaling/downloeding paches and difrent ways to start the game but none of that worket plz help

I have understood that, I asked you the dxdiag file and if you have update the driver of your graphic card.

Click 'start' button at the left bottom of your screen, select 'Run', type "dxdiag" without quotes and press Enter (if you have Win7, just type dxdiag into a text field in start menu itself). In this program you can click 'Save all information' button to save info into a file, then post contents of this file here.

THe update is that of drivers of your graphic card (go on the graphic card manifacturer website and download the latest driver).
