If SoW BoB comes out with all those filters enabled (excessive contrast, darkened image edges etc), I'll be turning them off.

IMO IL2 looks much more real than BoP (from the sceenshots that I've seen of BoP) - and I'd rather fly a sim that looks more real, rather than a cartoon any day.

That pic of the Ju-88 in IL-2 was rubbish (too blurred) and I didn't see anything wrong with the one with the spit.

I do like the WOP BOB terrain, but it won't be hard for the SOW team to easily surpass WOP, because their BOB terrain is missing so much its almost useless.

Well, they weren't supposed to be marvellous screenshots, just a comparison of landscape graphics
You can see there's a big difference in ground detail in the spit shot compared to the BoP spit screenshot. Although the glare mists it out a bit.
