suddenly the world is all sunshine and roses, one little short clip is now called a "marketing trail" by tree and this magically means the game release is just around the corner, and tree is all chuffed with himself and giving himself a golden shower in great delight

2) but when a NEW flightsim enthusiast joins this board with interest in the upcoming project (who most likely will then disappear taking with him the brief snips of info gleaned here to his cluster of friends and start a new batch of rumours) we predictably get tree's negative destructive one sided banter giving misinformation, except this time he slightly packages his turd with a little bow to pretend he is being all nice and helpful

wow now suddenly its all doom and gloom, as if there is no release date being hard worked for and aimed at on oleg's side, no regular weekly information updates for about a year, no signs of progress at all, no response and modifications by oleg based on fanbase feedback of his progress, etc.. so tree got called on it, at which point he started with his obscenities and personal insults (which there hadnt been in this thread so far), labeling anybody that had anything positive to say about BoB with expletives. he then put his foot in it further by saying it would be "a year" before release (which is plainly absurd, unless there is some major disaster on oleg's side), so i nailed tree down on it to make it a bet on the price of the game itself (easy enuf to do, either person can buy it online when released and have it sent to the other).

predictably, and based on the previous character flaws he had been so consistently displaying here, tree then rapidly started backtracking and trying to squirm out of it, for which he now got a long deserved medal of the avian type

the context of this all is that whatever delay's oleg is experiencing in the last yrs, which are not deliberate or by his neglect , his intention all along being to make the best possible sim he can given the resources he has to work with. if anything, his decision to not further evolve the il2 game engine and stretch it further, but make a completely different product "from the ground up" will be to all our benefit in the end, as most of us will very soon realize. so to constantly have this "slighted bride" behavior from tree is irrational, say it once that you are disappointed sure, but to CONSTANTLY do so for several yrs in most of the flightsim forums is just infantile (hence he gets treated as such, since he seems to only be able to communicate at that level), and for him to do so here so consistently and deliberately is plain offensive and rude to the creators

Funny how the universe twists and turns

i now get told last night, by somebody i have known over 10 yrs in the online flightsim world, that oleg's BoB has been postponed for another year !! this is a russian i have known since the days back to falcon 4, ms flightsim, mig alley, and to the inception of the original il2. wow so we have insider news ? great !!!...... but err, hang on, where did he get this juicy bit of information ? turns out his current nick is "highness" (lol, the original poster of this thread), and he dropped into the current oleg BoB forums to get some updated news and find out the latest ! hahahaha , gotta love the irony

instead he got deliberately given misinformation from tree's with his moronic monotone singsong of lamenting discontent and negative depressive banter. "highness" presumed it was accurate because he had it directly from somebody on the 1C forums who has a high post count "and has been there awhile", and hey presto another damaging unsubstantiated rumor got started (all of which harms sales !!)

i think tree should be booted for his persistent deliberate destructive behaviour, he's been temp banned for it before but obviously he has no intention to change. its not even some minor personal aberration he has, a quirk that might be overlooked otherwise. he is doing it deliberately and constantly, and yes it is not only plain rude and ungrateful of him (given the amount of information we get here and being given the access to "constructive input and feedback on WiP), but it is also has some damaging effect as has been clearly illustrated by this series of events

The sales figures are tumbling as we speak, Now the real funny thing is that as you will clearly see in my post that I make no mention about SOW being released in 1 years time or that the development has been put on hold or postponed for a year, I said and i quote, "now try and get back some dignity before release, im guessing you've got about a yr, so not too long" emphasis on the words 'Im guessing'. Now if your daft mate (if she really exsists) takes that as an official statement then im afraid she's more stupid than you are, which is an achievement in itself. No offense of course.
