Next week, I get to go on a nine day holiday to New Guinea, where I will walk the 97 odd KM from Kokoda back to Port Moresby, My Dad was part of the AIF that served there in '42.

Now during the fighting that occured during the Kokoda Campaign, not a single Australian solider that fell into Japanese hands survived, they were all killed by their captors. If you would like to research some history and prove me wrong please do.

Don't blame the US servicemen for being human, they were no worse and probably much more humane to their captives than their opponents.

Indoctrination is not an excuse for committing war crimes.
