Given the ease with which modern Macs can be made to run Windows, I'd think it highly unlikely that any PC Games publisher would consider the market for dedicated Mac games worth supporting.
Or am I wrong? Is there any dedicated Mac games software available that remotely compares with what is available for PCs?

There are some companies that release Mac versions. Blizzard for example with their upcoming Starcraft 2 real-time strategy game, but then again they are a huge company with a lot of available funds.

As far as I know there is no serious flight sim running on MacOs. Oleg would actually sell copies for MacOs very well in my opinion. But I have no idea what it takes to translate the code for mac.

X-plane is a serious sim for the Mac, Windows and Linux.
IL-2 and BoB are already restricted to a small market, hence to release it for the Mac would be to try to sell to a small proportion of another small market, I don't think it will happen unless the work involved is negligible.

mac + paralels + XP + favourite game
+1000 and then Iphone 4 remote control to desktop when the game is loaded using the gyro functions to control the spit in SOWBoB *dreaming*

Macs are a waste...limited software limited everything. 10% market share is not worth dev time to majority of companies. Not to mention macs can be less secure than PC's.
IMO people who buy macs are computer stupid. Its always better to build your own especially if you game.

nah nah nah, let us not start bashing each other.
software wise there are solutions for everything - virtualisation is often the key. and Google announced mid 2009 they were going the Linux+Mac OS way... Today, all your Google related apps and searches are run on Linux/Unix servers, and they have anbandoned the Microsoft OS'es. just sayin'... think about it and open yer mind ^^
