what about...You need to sabotage AA's in base and then paratroopers come...?

how about a german encampment which you have to attack with some elite british such as commandos and you have to destroy their fuel dump and fight your way off the map with enemy reinforcements swarming

that would be quite cool

Desert maps aren't really all that creative lots of flat open spaces ideal for tanks not so much for those who have to run.

British vs Afrika Korps, its getting rather old. Do something more intresting, like liberation of Sicily, or Greece.

They're probabally right how about war in italy. The assault on monte casino would make a great mission: monastary on flat mountain top with nearby village.
