Does Windows 7 give you an option to right-click on the HardBall_409.exe file, select "Properties", select the "Compatibility" tab, and select, "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service pack 2"?

I've discussed the idea with Team Daidalos and it may be a possibility in the future, however it would take a LOT of work, and I have some other projects I'd like to concentrate on for the time being. But I will continue to update my program to stay in line with IL-2's updates.
