well buildings are not built liker bunkers. If Machineguns can already tear a hole in a brick wall why should a 75mm HE leave it untouched ?

Actualy interesting is more how easily tanks drive trough buildings destroying them which should leave the tank damaged and eventualy destroyed cause of a colapsing building on top of it or.

I know in the game this isnt so much of an issue. But usualy driving trough buildings with tanks was prohibitied. At least for the Germans. And you would have to face the most harsh punishment for doing it as the risk of loosing the armor during this action was high. Remember many buildings had cellars and those where not made for 40-60 ton vehicles in mind ! Also colapsing structures could either damage the vehicle or trap the crew inside.

I know they are not solid bunkers but still, I highly doubt one shell into a normal house is going to bring the entire thing to the ground....sure its going to shred prolly half the wall and more where it hit but the house isnt coming down. It would be cool though if tanks had some negative effect in game for driving into buildings. I try not to do it in game but sometimes I do it to get around enemies only in Singleplayer, dont do it in MP and definitly not to lvl a house full of enemy

its prett usefull to level the building with a tank though. Well sometimes.

On the other side yeah one 75mm HE shell should probably not destroy the whole building. But actualy cant say that happens many times for me. I need many times quite a lot of HE shells to destroy a building completely. Even heavy guns like the Hummel dont destroy every building in one shoot. But thats my experience. I know structurs in MoW are hit based. So it means you dont destroy them really speaking from a physical point. You just shoot them and if the object has no health anymore it gets destroyed. Since most buildings are though divided in several individual objects it doesnt look bad. Correct physical calculations in a MP game are very hard to make since they mean a lot of stress to the Host (PC) and also can lag the game a lot cause of the transfer of informations. I mean already a hit based destruction can cause a lot of stuttering.
