actually.... this forum is really good for WW2 AC enthusiasts. there are some freaking great historians there...photos...videos... my 2nd home other than here. i highly recommend it...ONLY cos it does not run in competition to this site....but a wealth of info...check it out!! its where i get most of my pics, etc.
you have a question about anything...fighter groups..allied or axis...paint schemes, AC technical performance, you will get the straight poop...and a good bunch of blokes...like here.

I was flicking through the documentary channels and came across one called "Spitfire Ace". They take four modern pilots and train them in same way the ww2 pilots were trained then whittle them down to one flyer who gets to do 9 hour advanced flying in a Spitfire.
