You mean when they send you back or even in the alien sys where you have to turn around? I havent tried yet but I am p sure you will just go down in flames hard

If you have anyone with Shield Polarizer Ability before this mission, you can train him and max out on this ability, then equip your mothership with Max number of Shields or maybe one Antilaser, and keep on recharging the shield when it drains. This is probably the best bet.
