people need to learn to take games for what they are, not customized to noe persons likings, a console game has to attract ALLOT of different types of gamers, so IL-2 BoP is made to attract ALLOT of gamers. The developers did a great job, its not IL-2 1946 but its not meant to be. People need to enjoy the game for what it is, not what it could be to their satisfaction.

i have yet to play on line...never been there yet. so i am clueless as to what the perameters are. BUT is it possible if someone has their own server to create a room(s) for playing BoP and such? one that can be maybe regulated/moderated...different limits set...etc. i know a guy who is a whiz at computers...has servers...but is not a gamer. he would be willing to work on it if it is possible/feasible. or does the game system maunfacturers or the game developers have the monopoly on this??

You can set up private slots and limit the number of players who can join when you create and host a MP game. One sided matches will put people off for sure. I and most of the Xbox SIM regulars prefer to organise teams so that both have experienced pilots. Good comms is important in CTA, Strike and Team Battles but for some reason not all players wear headsets or, when they are, don't communicate. Low numbers partaking then single airfield......large numbers then two airfields are usually the best game options.
