Those escort missions, baaah! Sometimes they are piece o' cake if you can scout the way around and they follow slowly - mo-ship escort with descent weapons and you'll be fine with just your fighters.
But! I am on Corsair's side and got my escort with alexandra, hell yeah! Your damn slow ship have to keep up with the 2 transporters while you are being attacked all the way. But you'll get a message or suggestion there are fleets coming in from 1 jump portal (and you could!! intercept them). Yeah, was fine with me, till I got myself the you failed the game video ^^ Besides the convoy just went straight into his doom
In the next sector they just follow you...*wohoo*

-->Some plain & stupid 'Fly to location and kill x' would be nice too. (IT is a space sim *g* in every space sim there are fly to pint a..fly to point b...oh nothing's wrong here..lets just kill the bad guy at point c / may sound stupid but I'am in space sim shit since wing commander 1)

-intercept behaviour of your defending fighters is way too high. They are partial suicide bombers (compared to SW1 or 2)

-mission board (?) ^^ loved it. But no missions again for doing some cheap job and get a ultra-high amount of money

Don't get me wrong the game is awesome, but I'm being forced to do the story with no other things besides skipping the 'jump' and killing pirates or one of your "favourite" factions

edit: uhm patch...so it'd be only the intercept thingie..seems like they are very aggressive according which radar your ships or mo-shop are using / otherwise no problems so far

Mission Editor

resolve mouse lag or something like ( i really didn't understood what is annoyng me 'bout the mouse movement)

A passive state of the ships ( 'cause when they see an enemy they start like an hungry dog )

yeah, should set tactic dispersion on all ships. It gets frustrating to watch 5 big ships and a bunch load of fighters attached to you mother ship go highwire when you try to go somewhere.

I think I sat for a half an hour just watching and clicking for a "move order" in frustration as all the ships just circled around their own axis and didn't move from the spot

I'd add more random / hidden stuff. Was great in SW1 to find that base which sold you some awesome weapons and a gunslinger for knock-down prices.

Make the traders you bump into in space worthwhile. Their prices are way over FTU prices at stations, so apart from the odd batch of missiles I buy up I'd never bother with them.

Beh, I wanted to end up in a cruiser or battleship ;p The old shoe-box while a nice ship stat wise (miss the 2nd super caliber gun though), didn't really look the part hehe. I'd love to have been able to pick and choose between different motherships.
