Goverment have no ******* heart
Where I live we use to have 2 spits and a lancaster fly above the town center bringing a tear to the eyes of veterans who flew them and around 2006 they stopped it due to the spitfires having one engine therefore making it unsafe HOW? Maintain the aircraft and you will have no problems Pricks |

This all stemmed from an article on defense cuts in the Daily Mirror, where it was mentioned along with all the other things they could possibly cut.
There is no way any government (left or right) in their right mind would pull funding from the BOBMF. There would be public outrage and the saving involved would be 3 million, which in the scheme of defense spending is nothing. I'll stick my neck out and say that this will not happen. I imagine it's been made public for no other reason than to ensure it's survival. |
