Happened to me late on last night. Only comfort is that it isn't just me. I've just checked now and it's still down!! Arghhhhhhhhhhh

Aparantley it's a firmware problem with the internal clock/calendar.

If that's the case then we're all going to have to wait for a software update.

what the **** sony i have lost all my trophies and my hard disc has been cleared. I didnt know this bullshit was going on so when i turned on my 69gb ps3 and then went to make a coffee when i got back the fat bastard had started system restore i tried to cancell it but it said i had to format my hard disc first so it could restart. words can not describe how ******* annoyed i am right now and how many hours of my life have just been lost in this short space of time.

I've just been going through some of my older games (pre trophy). They work ok.

Tiger woods 09, COD 4 both work fine. It's a trophy problem I reckon.
