Had it been half as good as HoP (any of you play that one) looking like that I wouldve bought both, hands down, no questions asked. After following it and seeing how the game was going (not played it but it seems more arcade that BA, that ace kill was the real killer for me) its not even worthy to be mentioned in the same breath. But really it shows the main problems nowadays, from the outset the publishers wanted too much for too little. Too much focus on making the game pretty and a few bad design choices really screwed it over and like he said, all but killed two companies in the process.

QFT. Hawx was such a let down its not even funny. When they first announced a Clancy flight sim i nearly wet my pants, when i heard the name one eyebrow raised and it was all downhill from there

agreed the ace kill feature was the main reason i stayed away, that and i knew of a a few ps3 users who will forever occupy my block list; who were getting the game over BoP.
Plus ubisoft have no clue of how to support a multiplayer game on the next gen consoles every one of theirs i've played has been a dissappointment HAWX farcry blazing angels to name but a few

I stuck it on again this afternoon for 20 mins just to see whats what. Went into online multiplayer and there wasnt a single player online. Ended up in single player, its so poor its unbelievable. The chase plane camera angle is set at a slight angle to one side of the plane. This makes it unsettling to play. Using the target lock the screen stays static unless the target plane flies off screen then it pans around to look.
Ace kill is very poor and everything feels clunky to play. Tempted to get rid but wont get much on trade for it due to plumeted prices
