I use the G-6 for the same reason. Here lately, everybody seems to be. (PS3, but it doesn't matter). Every game I get in the last week is loaded with G-6 and K-4. It's the guns. They are the best in game. I'm blowing wings off at 1000 yards. No kidding! My kill count has doubled since switching from the LA5. The best pilots on PS3 are now using it to my dismay.

The developers use a trained monkey to watch each dogfight and score every kill. Unfortunately monkeys are easily distracted, so they're not always looking.
They couldn't get any money from the publisher to write code to fix the scoring, so training a monkey was the most economical option. The main problem with the coding may be what happens with shared kills. They could just use the German system of everyone getting the kill, or better, the Allied decimal system which assigns fractions of kills for shared kills. It wouldn't matter as much if deaths were -5 points like they should be. |
