can't find ben gan's treasure

indeed i have... at first i just went where all the crosses are and hoped for a treasure hunting beam of light to appear...

Shadow, there is a spot you can only get to on umkas by flying. It is a little bit of shallow water slightly BEHIND the cave the bears are in. You can walk behind the bears okay, but the little bit of watery ground.

i see... well, since i can't fly yet (at least i'm assuming i'll have to learn that somehow and it's not a feature i've missed out on right from the beginning?), that'll have to wait then. thanks

Yes, flying happens when you complete a certain mid game quest . Oh, and the location of the treasure is always a random one of those exes. Meaning that you will sometimes, but rarely, be unable to do that quest until later in the game. Kinda a weird decision in my opinion.

Opening the map is not a prerequisite. I got it by accident without ever opening the map the first time I got the quest.

mid game? you sure about that? i'm level 48 and still haven't learned to fly...

you didn't do the quest then. Go to the temple of love between Verona and Montero and get the quest for the stone, then defeat Hagni in Montero. At lvl 48 it should be a piece of pie.

oh man... i was sure i've talked to that npc multiple times... maybe it wasn't at the right moment in time. oh well. thanks anyway, i didn't even have to kill anyone, guess i had already done that...

Well, it cost me to me sometimes on some games to find the treasure. Sometimes i clear umkas and go tapping the D key all the time around the island. I never found the treasure on the mini-bears lake. If u dont find the treasure there, just go taping the D key again for all the island. I missed the treasure on 2 games for no reason. Level 48 and u cant fly wtf?? U gain the flying horse alias "pegasus" once u clear the castle Hagni of montero. (the castle on the center of Montero). U didnt clear it? ow, u must be near the end of the game and still can fly.. weird. And if u cant fly, that means u dont have the temple of love stone, and u need it to finish the game.

I have flight, I dug around in the bear pond (and everywhere else), but still no treasure.
