I wonder what causes that subtle whistle with the 109s. I'd probably pick that DB engine out of a cacophony of noise just like I would a Merlin. Just awesome.

How about a flight in a P40, on the wing of a P51 (Nice clip)



or a flight in a lancaster bomber perhaps?



Or a spitfire start up (i like this one) for our flying fans
