Wow, that's only 37mph. Quite slow. No need for a leading truck then.

60 km/h max is fast enough for freight trains because most of freight cars weren't allowed to drive faster than that. Of course for a passenger train it is too slow. But you have to keep in mind that the prussian G8 is a very old lady. It was built first in 1902 and 60 km/h was quite fast then

At least a small update from here, the french steamer LOD0 has almost been finished. Some small parts still have to be added.

All still WIP, but you can imagine how she will be looking like:

I just hope that the visual damage model actually shows steam escaping from bullet holes in the boiler, as it should.

Fantastic models, Foo'bar!
Reminds me of my Märklin model railway I built all over my sisters room when she moved out of my parents home when I was 12. Built a huge scenery wich my parents let be up for allmost a year.

Has Oleg come up with a deadline for when he needs this models finished from you?

Yes. The G8 has to be finished early february latest. But not all of my models will go into initial release. Most of them will come later.
