hi sneaksie, thanks for replying i have tried doing those 3 things and i am still outside in the freezing cold. any other suggestions...is it something to do with playing on vista? if I don't sort it out soon i can see this laptop being launched across the room along with the game

....still stuck outside....i can't believe i keep trying, please has ANYBODY got ANY other suggestions.

A long shot - try to turn physics in game settings on or off.
