Funny you should mention this. I am just trying to clean up the last of the unlocks I need, of which there aren't many. I got most of them before the patch, but now I only need a couple of B17 ones for 10 and 15 strike wins, an LA7 one for destroying one strike target (which I'll tell you how in a sec), I need to destroy 1 more strike target with the IL10 and get 3 more wins with it and I think that's it.
Last night I got all the unlocks for the P51B/D amongst others. How? I decided to use oceanx's tactic. Anyone that tells you flying a plane into a strike target does no damage is talking bollocks. Doing that I managed to destroy 3 targets in one 20 minute match with an IL10 that had only 4x50kg bombs.
So that's it basically... pick one target and just keep flying into it. Fire guns at it on approach (I don't know if it helps, but it's something to do
). Drop any bombs you have as soon as you can - but don't drop a second load because they will most likely kill you before you can crash into the target.
