Reading the La-7 Cockpit

If there are ammo counters would be useful to know their locations for the various cockpits available but checking the above link suggests no counter!

only ww2 fighters that I have noticed that have ammo counters on il2 1946 are the bf 109 and fw 190

** What I would recommend you to do is to choose a desired plane and test it in training, press the trigger and record the seconds until you run out of ammo, then you will know about how much ammo you have left. I normally fire short 1 second bursts, so if Im using the Yak-3 and I know that I have 30 seconds of ammo, then I can keep track of this by counting the bursts (I actually do this lol, and have all planes tested ) it works quite well.

I looked, there's no ammo gauge on the la-7, unless it's hiding someplace hard to see. In fact, the Luftwaffe captured one and examined it, they considered its cockpit to be primitive and hard to use.

Thank you very much. But no ammo counter kinda sucks. That's why I love the Bf-109 in 1946.

This is why the early VW's had air-cooled engines. Because of the German winter and most average Germans not having a garage.
