Calinda did it in 10 days. I usually do it in 12-14 days. The no-loss victory was done in 21 days due to some more extensive traveling.

Simply do the islands in one go. If you can't, leave the tough enemies for later, when you're coming back to finish a quest. That can be done even on impossible without much trouble.
