Just incase anyone else has this v-synch problem in the future and does a search of these forums, the latest nVidia drivers 195.62 have fixed the problem for me. Did a test changing back and forth between the new drivers and the old and it was definitely some internal change within the drivers causing the issue, in conjunction with Windows 7.

V-Sync on Windows 7 is back and working with the new release official nVidia drivers
it wasn't only il2 which previously suffered but also DCS Blackshark |

I've can't get v-sync to work when 1946 runs in opengl mode.
I have windows 8 x64 and HD6990m (CCC 13.2 beta 5) Any ideas? Anyone have it working in Windows 8 x64 with similar ATI card? |

I've just tried it and it works for me. I forced ON v-sync (I thought) with CCC, closed CCC and started game, no V-sync. I closed game, opened CCC and v-sync was OFF, I forced it ON, applied it (for sure) and started game with CCC open. v-sync was ON. I was sure I applied setting first run through and if I did I don't know if leaving CCC open made any difference. Now back to normal with v-sync OFF.
I have an HD7970 with 13.2 Beta 5 driver on Win7 64 and game in opengl. |

Might be a Windows 8 anomaly then.

With my ATI card it helped to install ati tray tools, vsync is only working since then. I have read the same somewhere else.
