I want to thank all of your great and kind comments about how you guys are enjoying this tournament. Trust me, it has not been as complicated as it may seem. Yes, it takes time to record all scores and calculate your stats and results, but it is not affecting my daily plans at all.

I noticed other people, like haitch40, taking the initiative and organizing a realistic tournament, there is also an arcade one. These tournaments offer no reward and still they get a positive response from this community which shows how much you all trully enjoy this game.

I started these competitions in order to give life back to this game because I was not able to find any online matches and im happy to see il2 alive again

I notice that il2, being the small community that it is, needs organization so that the few players that have this game can find eachother online. So, if all goes well (and I find the time) I will definitely share with you SIM players another idea that I have for this game. I already have the foundations ready but im waiting for the patch to see how well this new competition will work with the new patch. First, lets finish "ace of aces tournament" and then I will see about posting my second project

Again, thank you all for your support, it has been a great experience so far. By the way, my girlfriend begs to differ lol :S

Hey I had a chance to do my two matches yesterday with him and my thumbs were actually hurting after the second match... Look out for this guy.

Yes, he was quite fun to fly against. He would get pretty low to try and make me crash! I was just about clipping tree tops trying to follow him, I had a grin ear to ear
