If you use the english mod, the count of battles is not shown (some translation error), just ????? instead. Just check the sword after every battle.

For me, the Barbarians on Bolo had the sword for sale - and the Ancient Amulet I found on Unnamed Island.

No death Skull, but a warrior doesn't need that anyway.
