Who's the best BOP pilot you've met in the skies?

Trust me, if you see me crashing I dont do it on purpose, that is why created a dogfight challenge on PS3 on STRIKE using only fighter planes. So that all crashes count. I am absolutely against people that crash as soon as they see their plane damaged or those who are injured and kill someone and crash to get a new plane.

I dont care about ranks or kills on PS3 either, I play to have fun that is why I mainly use FW 190, MC 202, or Hurricane. Other planes (spits, yaks, La7) are just too perfect for me. Any of this you can ask the PS3 guys that have played against me.

Yes edal doesn't crash on purpose. I can't stand when he gets in the fw190 that plane sucks but he is able to dominate in it.

Agreed, first time i saw edal in that thing i was like "Does he want to lose?" and then low and behold he swings the thing round and sticks me face first into the dirt.

But i did eventually manage to figure out a way to shoot him down

And just like trk said, Edal has never from what i have seen crashed intentionally

So far edal has been the toughest to beat 1 on 1 cause he hardly ever makes mistakes. I managed to down his fw190 with yak-3 but only barely, 2 deaths to 1. I had endless trouble with his mc202 because of its turn radius, finally I figured out how to beat it though it still takes maximum effort and only with a faster/better climbing plane.

Other than edal the toughest opponent I've met in kills-only scoring is maninovka, and the best shot I've seen is Cosmo79 who I don't think has posted on this forum. Dinho also has a vicious attack. I've sent links to the tournament thread to several people but not all will be able to read it unfortunately.

<> about the ps3 scoring system, if you notice some people have 3 times as many kills as someone ranked higher up, so at least it's not just about the kills. One time I played an even match against a lower-ranked opponent, and I checked the board and my rank had instantly dropped 3 places.
I think the accuracy rating may have something to do with it too. Maybe the devs are just sitting there watching people play, and then adjusting their rank.

I'm pretty sure its down to accuracy... I'm second on the Team Battle board (or was last time i checked) and I have far less kills, and less matches, then the people below me. I do have a higher accuracy though (Don't know how, because I can't hit the broadside of a barn!)

Well I have had a lot if fun on this game over the last few weeks. Maiinly in arcade mode on PS3
Met a lot of great players, winny1973, zeroptimis, shinigamidragoon to name a few. I think I played Pedro once or twice. I think best player was ratman911. Great host and a good guy to play with
