On the PS3 I may be one of the best but Xbox I am being dominated by their top aces. (is my second day though trying on xbox). Its not that I find Xbox players more challenging than PS3, you xbox people will notice this if you try playing against us on the PS3. Example: I stall and spin out lol on xbox. Yeah i noticed this happenig with you alot, and when i shot you alot, i also noticed you would crash i got really angry lol. I knwo your a good pilot though and its not your fault, your just adjusting etc so wont hold it against you. Did cost mer a few kills on you though lol.

But.......


After tonight it just got to much and i admit i got slightly wound up, so unfortunately im calling it a day with this game as of tonight i think. I was really hoping tonight would be a great nights flying, but it just didnt happen.

Until a patch is seen then i'm through with this game, which hurts more because i know i'll enjoy MW2 to much and will just forget this game and stick to where the numbers are.

I enjoyed it for a brief time.

The leaderboards are only for ranked matches, we were playing unranked "player" matches. No one plays ranked matches in sim...literally no one. Good flying with you hope to see you again

I'm still going to check the forum as always so i'll still be one here annoying everyone no doubt lol, im just effectively "grounded" until a patch is released.

THEN

if numbers stay as they are or increase then i'll come back, if numbers stay in decline then i'll trade in while i still get a good price.

Also -

this is the best forum i've been part of, its a great crowd and everyone gets along. I just really hope the publishers aren't bullshitting us about the patch lol.

Trust me, if you see me crashing I dont do it on purpose, that is why created a dogfight challenge on PS3 on STRIKE using only fighter planes. So that all crashes count. I am absolutely against people that crash as soon as they see their plane damaged or those who are injured and kill someone and crash to get a new plane.

I dont care about ranks or kills on PS3 either, I play to have fun that is why I mainly use FW 190, MC 202, or Hurricane. Other planes (spits, yaks, La7) are just too perfect for me. Any of this you can ask the PS3 guys that have played against me.

Yes edal doesn't crash on purpose. I can't stand when he gets in the fw190 that plane sucks but he is able to dominate in it.

Agreed, first time i saw edal in that thing i was like "Does he want to lose?" and then low and behold he swings the thing round and sticks me face first into the dirt.

But i did eventually manage to figure out a way to shoot him down

And just like trk said, Edal has never from what i have seen crashed intentionally

So far edal has been the toughest to beat 1 on 1 cause he hardly ever makes mistakes. I managed to down his fw190 with yak-3 but only barely, 2 deaths to 1. I had endless trouble with his mc202 because of its turn radius, finally I figured out how to beat it though it still takes maximum effort and only with a faster/better climbing plane.

Other than edal the toughest opponent I've met in kills-only scoring is maninovka, and the best shot I've seen is Cosmo79 who I don't think has posted on this forum. Dinho also has a vicious attack. I've sent links to the tournament thread to several people but not all will be able to read it unfortunately.

<> about the ps3 scoring system, if you notice some people have 3 times as many kills as someone ranked higher up, so at least it's not just about the kills. One time I played an even match against a lower-ranked opponent, and I checked the board and my rank had instantly dropped 3 places.
I think the accuracy rating may have something to do with it too. Maybe the devs are just sitting there watching people play, and then adjusting their rank.
