just sign if your waitng for the patch before returning to the game?

I'm on PS3 and I have not been able to get a multiplayer game in the last 3 trys. Thats giving it 30 mins by creating a session, sitting on the couch, playing guitar, reading ,picking my nose and waiting waiting waiting waiting. I hope the patch does SOMETHING to fix the MP otherwise its a lost cause.

Oh yeah, I'm waiting for the patch too.

a) the patch wil lfix all the issues

b) doesnt matter though because MW2 will be out next week and the majority will be playing that. So if you cant get a game now then its highly unlikey you will then. Sorry.


I've done nothing but defend this game and stick around, but were all adults so lets face facts..... the patch will come out but the players wont be coming back in their masses. COD is out next week, everyone will be playing that, its going to be a great game theirs no denying it.

Unfortunately gentlemen i fear this is the end of BoP, only a select few will be sticking around, but as the days turn to weeks and no more players turn up then they will move onto other games. I fear our great adventures will be over soon because the patch wasnt released sooner.

I don't think it will die. Some will stay, at least every night there are about 60 people online on ps3. Otherwise I am more into the single-player. I just recently bought the DLC and I can't wait for some more to continue the missions. Also I for one won't be buying mw2, cod4 was great, and cod W@W was even better(ww2 nut) but mw2 looks to be way to easy for me. Waiting patiently for Battlefield Bad Company 2 in March which leaves times to play BOP. http://badcompany2.ea.com/#/videos

I hate to disagree foz mate, but have you looked at the list in the Dev's forum, it barely touches the issues. I think you'll be very disappointed. Don't get me wrong I'll still be on and playing it once I get my Xbox back from germany, but I'm not holding my breath that they're going to do something of any value.

Honestly, I haven't played BoP in weeks, but it's not because I'm waiting for a patch come out. In fact, I might play it today.

Nevertheless, I will stay on this forum when MW2 comes out. I'm positive lots of people will buy it and have a great time playing it, but I'm not getting it since it seems like MW with a 2 put in the title.

If you aren't playing BoP because there are all sorts of problems, that's fine by me. But I bought the game and so I'm going to enjoy it.

As the OP explained before, this thread was not meant to make a point. He just wanted to see how many people were not playing the game before the patch comes out. That's it.
