Let me just say that although I can't wait for the patch and additional cockpits, etc, this game is far from "dying". I play it constantly. I'm always trying to find people to get sim matches started, and when we get one going it's usually insanely fun. None of these problems seriously destroy the gameplay. If they were fixed, it would be better, but the game isn't a total wash because of them.

Why bother assaulting the devs on the forum? Offering criticism is one thing, but threatening to "trade the game back in" or not buy it in the first place is really childish. Or just spending time ranting at the devs, what's the point? I dunno. I suppose I'm doing the same thing, but only at the ranters...I just don't think it's constructive to tear people apart, especially since it's not even their fault. I know I'm late to the party on this thread but I thought I'd say my piece.

the way i see it is they are forcing YOUR GREAT GAME to die !! NOW IF I WAS YOU GUYS I WOULD TELL THEM YOU WONT DEVLOPE ANYMORE GAMES FOR THEM AS YOU ARE UNHAPPY ABOUT THE WAY THEY have treated your games and customers and you want to go work with another publisher ??

Thats all I needed to keep my interest in this game .
I'll just keep waiting, and if I get it right and MS approved the update and we're just waiting for the publisher, it could come any day now .

this update is at least gonna keep me from complaining the next 2 weeks . Maybe I'll look for the publishers forum and rant there

Myeah.. in any other rant thread I'd agree, but all posters in this thread are respected players who've repeatedly showed their love for this game. We're just annoyed by the time it takes for the update to come through.

Thanks for the update. Most of us know it's the publisher's/Sony's/Microsoft's doing on the patch. I just wish someone from THEIR company could be arsed to read some of the posts out here and see what strong desire there still is to play this game.

so you like paying your hard earned cash for a game that is flawed ? and no sign of a fix in sight ??


and before you ram it down my throat i know anton has said the patch is with ms/sony or still at publishers (still unclear on that point )

and if you bothered to read this forum you would see that most of the time we are a good bunch that only talk about the great times we have had with this game etc
