Yes-I couldnt agree more. I gave up playing for awhile until the patch fixes the dead-zone issue. I even 'bought the kids' a PS3 so I could use my PC joystick and the new stick customization.
The lack of info lately from the makers is worrying me greatly. I may have to upigrade my computer and just fly IL2 on PC instead.
Ohh well, I had such high expectations-and most of them were met!. Dead-zone and lack of audible stall clue kills this for me as I am a knife-fighter. Sigh

You've been playing WAY to much HAWX and Ace Combat, haven't you.

No-Ive never played either. I have flown hundreds of hours over many years on Warbirds, Aces High and IL2 on PC. I employ energy and angles tactics, but get the most enjoyment out of a fight that degenerates to co-E angles. That kind of combat requires being able to fly the edge of the stall envelope better than the opponent. Bop currently has little or no auditory clues to let you manipulate that fine line. I miss that and the patch is supposed to address the issue as I understand it. I also enjoy being able to fine tune my shot with precision control. The current deadzone issue does not allow that kind of control. I await the patch
to solve these issues for me. Thx for your positive words while I wait.
