Hurricane reigns supreme online (why??)

I think some of our sucess comes from good team work, but I do agree that the Hurricane is probably a bit too good. Yes it is pretty slow but it just doesn't stall. At one point tonight I was in a vertical climb chasing a 109 and my speed dropped to almost 60mph and still no stall before I killed the 109 and easily leveled off. You can also sit doing riculusly tight turns non-stop. Although I will say that we need more planes that can challenge the La7 in a turning fight, not less so I'm not complaining.

What Shocked me again was how crap the Mustang Ia feels to fly after a few games in a Hurricane, and those weedy 4 machine guns that should be cannons couldn't even scratch that damn IL 2M, not to mention the super high stall speed. You won that game all by yourself in the Hurricane.

Don't worry, when I get the time to play online again (work is a killer at this time of year, at this moment I'm working 4 hours of overtime!!!) I'll be sure to buy my 360 copy, and find you both in my Yak-3. Or if you prefer, my Yak-1b? We'll see how well your Hurricane stands. lol

Its a date

Im hoping the yak-3 or yak-1b if flown well gives the hurricane a challenge. We've not gone up against them yet so may try this tomorrow. It was a bit of a dissapointment tonight when we went up against the LA-7 because we thought that out winning streak was going to come to an end (especially as the enemy both used the LA-7) but it turned into a slaughter, the LA-7 just got demolished.

It was faster but only a couple of round from the hurricane would blown it to pieces, and because we had so much ammo (we use limited ammo) we could offord to "snipe" so to speak and we were shooting them down far to easily.

Its definately something we will have to look into further. Maybe take an LA-7 up myself against the hurricane and see how it copes.

Hey, Foz earlier in the night I add a couple of Hurricanes for dinner with my 109F But unfortunatly I did not see you flying it.

They were so powerless in the air so I went to the conclusion that Hurricanes reigns supreme under sea.

Whoever was flying them wasnt flying them correctly lol. IF a 109 manages to jump you and get rounds into you then your pretty screwed, but its your own fault as the hurrican pilot for not being on the ball and keeping your tactical awareness up

to be fair though, when we were flying it earlier, our targets alot of the time did try to turn us alot, but they lost speed and we could out turn them and get our kills.

The 12 guns are much better than people give them credit for. Granted they are not the best but they are damn good none the less

i do think this plane is a little to strong though.

Yeah they are feared by so many U-Boat Captains.

Was a team game robotic we kept an eye on each other and also communicated well, so we also had control of the situation. Between us i think we prevented ourselves getting shot down a few times just by warning each other of an enemy plane that was coming in for the kill. Great co ordination

I remember the climb at 60MPH lol, i was on your wing the whole way up, then lost you in the cloud and shit myself because i had this vision of coming out of the cloud and into you haha. Superb games. I must admit though the mustang did look like it was having problems a few times with the IL2. We got it in the end though

DAZZ........ great games tonight mate, its good your getting used to sim, its so much more fun and really pushes you to your limits. A great few games tonight. But your 109.... i fear it will be chow for my hurricane lol
