 A whole generation of pilots learned to treasure the Spitfire for its delightful response to aerobatic manoeuvres and its handiness as a dogfighter. Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically.Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.

Well I for one can't wait to have the entertainement and embodiement of our passion for combat flight-sim back
 just think of how unbelievably boring this forum would be if it weren't for Tree and Team Diadalos. like 6S.Manu said "After all without funnys thread the board would be totally boring, with many people asking only for the Shift+F1 key and how landing gears work on Ratas. Or many more spamming to advertise their squadron (worser than Tree's threads IMO)... In this way you don't create a community." this forum would just be a sticky-"F1 for gunshights", "Oleg's news" and the good old "Postings that are Prohibited on this site" plus the occasional person asking about SOW news once every 6 months.
